Tahiti Pearl Market partners with Aimeho Va'a Taie to pass on Polynesian culture and protect our lagoons.
The partnership
A shared vision, a multiplied force

Two houses born from the same lagoon. On one side, pearl-farming expertise passed down since 1994; on the other, a cultural association based in Moorea, committed to preserving and sharing Polynesian heritage through va'a (traditional outrigger canoeing), ancestral navigation, the lagoon, and immersive educational experiences that inspire, nurture, and connect children and young people with their culture and environment.
Why this partnership?
Every pearl tells a story. The story of a preserved lagoon, an engaged community, and knowledge passed on with pride.

Our craftsmanship
An eco-responsible collection: vegan bracelets made from coconut fibre and Tahitian pearls. A share of sales is donated to Aimeho Va'a Taie.

Lagoon pollution and climate change weaken pearl oysters: slower growth, less pure nacre. Protecting the water means protecting the pearl — and the culture it carries.

Shared values
Since 1994, Tahiti Pearl Market has cultivated its pearls with absolute respect for the marine environment. Our seven pearl farms, spread across the Tuamotu Islands — including Fakarava, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — practise responsible aquaculture.
Traceability & craftsmanship
“We strive to become a model of sustainable luxury, by sharing the origin of our key raw materials and investing in the artisans who craft our jewellery.”
The young Pinctada margaritifera oyster is collected and raised in the lagoon.
A graft and a nucleus are delicately introduced by the grafter's hand.
18 to 24 months during which nacre is deposited, layer after layer.
Each pearl is cleaned, then sorted by shape, lustre and colour.

Our new eco-responsible collection
A line conceived with the lagoon, and for it. Materials from Polynesian soil, the Tahitian pearl at its heart, and a solidarity gesture with every purchase.

Signature piece
A cord braided from coconut fibre, a clasp carved from coconut shell, and a genuine Tahitian pearl as its centrepiece. Fully vegan, handmade in Polynesia.
